Most parents come to us with the same question you are asking: is it autism? A teacher raised a concern, your pediatrician suggested an evaluation, or you have been noticing patterns for a while. The answer is yes, we evaluate for that. And because conditions in childhood overlap, mask, and mimic one another, we do not stop at a single yes or no.
Every NeuroClarity evaluation looks across neurodevelopmental conditions in one clinician-led process shaped around your child’s age and presentation. You leave with an answer to the question you came with and a clear picture of what is shaping your child’s development, so the support that follows fits the whole child, not just part of the story.
“The process was thorough and easy to navigate. I appreciated being able to consider many of the questions on my own prior to the official appointment, as I felt it took a lot of pressure off the experience. My evaluator was kind, open-minded, and encouraging, and I felt that she truly listened to understand me; she also was very patient with me and allowed me to ask any questions that came up.”
Your child’s report explains the patterns behind what you, and often teachers or your pediatrician, have noticed, including which conditions were supported, which were considered, and why.
You receive guidance matched to your child’s picture, including care options, therapy considerations, early-intervention or school supports, and what is worth revisiting as your child grows.
You receive a written clinical report you can bring to your child’s school, pediatrician, or therapists, including documentation that supports IEP or 504 conversations when accommodations are on the table.
Understand your child with the right information.
The way their mind works was never a failing.
Every evaluation ends with a 15 to 25 page diagnostic report, signed by the psychologist who evaluated your child and delivered within 5 business days of your session. Here is what each section looks like.

01 · Strengths
Caregiver reports and clinician observations, framed as starting points, not deficits.

02 · Diagnosis
A formal DSM-5 conclusion with ICD-10 codes, severity levels, and the clinical reasoning behind it.

03 · Recommendations
Specific therapy recommendations, each tied to vetted providers in your county.

04 · Appendices
Standardized assessment results, developmental history, and supporting evidence.
Delivered as a navigable online report and a downloadable PDF for schools, therapy providers, and insurers.
01
Complete a structured caregiver intake in your secure portal covering your child’s developmental history, current patterns at home and school, and the specific questions bringing you to the evaluation. Move through it at your own pace.
02
Your clinician reviews the intake and shapes the evaluation around your child’s age and presentation, including the conditions most relevant to explore and the adjacent concerns worth ruling in or out.
03
Meet through a secure video session. For younger children the session is built around the caregiver interview and structured observation; older children and teens participate directly with your clinician.
04
Your secure portal gives you ongoing access to your child’s results, recommendations, and next steps. You can return to them anytime and download an official diagnostic report when you need it.
School evaluations answer an eligibility question: does your child qualify for services here. A clinical diagnosis answers the deeper one: what is actually shaping how your child learns, connects, and copes. Schools recognize our report in IEP and 504 conversations, and it travels with your child wherever support happens next.
Autism in childhood overlaps, masks, and mimics: ADHD, anxiety, language differences, and learning patterns can look alike at different ages. Testing for a single condition can return an answer that’s technically accurate but clinically incomplete. One clinician-led process looks across them together.
Many families are told to wait. But what you are noticing at home is exactly the clinical information an evaluation is built on: caregiver interviews, standardized measures, and structured observation, shaped to your child’s age from 18 months to 18. Clarity now means the support that follows fits sooner.

We evaluate children from 18 months to age 18. The evaluation itself adapts to your child’s age: for toddlers and young children, the process is caregiver-led, built on your observations, developmental history, and structured measures. Older children and teens participate directly with the clinician alongside caregiver input.
Yes. NeuroClarity’s practice began with comprehensive adult evaluations, and the same clinician-led approach is available at any age. Many parents pursue an evaluation for themselves after seeing the process up close. The same secure booking covers both; you indicate who the evaluation is for at the start.
You came with an autism question, and the answer is yes, we evaluate for that. And because conditions in childhood frequently overlap, mask, and mimic one another, we look across neurodevelopmental conditions in one clinician-led process rather than testing for a single condition in isolation.
Alongside the autism question, your clinician considers related concerns that can resemble or accompany it, such as ADHD, anxiety, language differences, and learning patterns, and works out whether they better explain what you are seeing, sit alongside another condition, or can be ruled out.
Whatever the outcome, you leave with a comprehensive clinical report: your child’s developmental profile, what the assessment did and did not support, and specific recommendations for what would help. If autism criteria are not met, your clinician explains what better accounts for what you are seeing and what to do next. The evaluation answers your question either way.
ADHD and autism frequently occur together, and in young children they can look alike. Because every NeuroClarity evaluation looks across neurodevelopmental conditions, your clinician assesses the ADHD question alongside the autism question in the same process and the same flat fee, shaped to your child’s age, and the report addresses both.
For young children, the most clinically valuable information comes from the people who know the child best. The evaluation is built on in-depth caregiver interviews, standardized measures completed by caregivers, and where appropriate teachers, and structured observation of your child guided by the clinician over secure video.
This model is well established in pediatric telehealth diagnostic work. Our clinical leadership has spent decades conducting evaluations this way, including statewide telehealth programs built specifically to reach families without nearby specialists.
Yes. You can download a formal written clinical report signed by your child’s doctoral-level licensed evaluating clinician. It includes clinical history, the assessments administered, findings, formal diagnoses where criteria are met, and specific recommendations. Schools recognize this documentation in IEP and 504 conversations, and providers can use it to guide care.
The evaluation is fully self-pay, which means transparent, predictable pricing with no surprise bills. You pay one flat fee for the full evaluation, and many families use HSA or FSA funds at checkout.
After the evaluation, we can provide a superbill upon request, an itemized clinical receipt you can submit to your insurance plan for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement is determined by your plan.
Every evaluation is conducted by a doctoral-level licensed clinician, PhD or PsyD, who signs and stands behind their own diagnostic findings. We do not use master’s-level clinicians or postdoctoral trainees for diagnostic work.
If you have questions about the process, timing, cost, or whether an evaluation makes sense for your child right now, you can with our team. There is no expectation to move forward afterward.
The NeuroClarity team is available to answer any questions you have about the evaluation, the process, or whether it is the right fit for you. Schedule a 15-minute call below if it would be helpful.
