Our Mission

Increasing access. Providing clarity.

Autism is identified in roughly 1 in 36 children in the United States, and ADHD is more common still. Yet diagnostic waitlists routinely stretch months, sometimes years. For adults, the gap is wider again: a great many reach their thirties or forties having collected partial explanations — anxiety, depression, burnout — without anyone asking the underlying question.

NeuroClarity was built to close that gap through telehealth, bringing specialized diagnostic expertise directly to people in rural, underserved, and hard-to-reach communities — across the lifespan, from early childhood through adulthood. The mission is straightforward: faster access to real answers, and clear direction on what to do next.

We serve families of every age, ethnicity, and cultural background — and we are building a clinical team that reflects that range. We are always seeking clinicians fluent in languages beyond English, and those with lived or clinical experience serving diverse communities. If that’s you, we want to hear from you.

The NeuroClarity Evaluation

One workflow. A complete answer.

Most people who reach us present with overlapping pictures — attention differences that could be ADHD, anxiety, or both; social patterns that could be autism or a lifetime of adaptation. The NeuroClarity Evaluation removes that friction: a single clinician-led workflow that fully investigates ASD, ADHD, anxiety, and related conditions together. Patients never have to guess which condition to evaluate first.

For you, that means one consistent process for every case — the same intake structure, the same platform support, the same report architecture — with the clinical freedom to pursue the full differential rather than confirming a single referral question. No juggling condition-specific evaluations, batteries, or referral pathways.

Why Join NeuroClarity

A practice model designed around your clinical life.

We built NeuroClarity for psychologists who want to do meaningful diagnostic work without the overhead, rigidity, and bureaucratic friction that so often comes with traditional practice. Here is what that looks like in practice.

01

Flexible scheduling that fits your life

Unlike clinic-based models, NeuroClarity lets you set the appointment windows that work for your schedule. Whether you are building a part-time caseload, supplementing an existing practice, or moving to fully telehealth work, we accommodate the hours you want — not the other way around.

02

Technology that acts as your clinical assistant

The NeuroClarity platform is built to work the way a skilled clinical assistant would: it takes care of everything around the evaluation so you can spend your time on the evaluation itself. Specifically, it handles:

  • All patient intake coordination and pre-evaluation scheduling
  • A clinician-facing pre-evaluation summary that organizes the full record for review before the session
  • Automatically scored standardized questionnaires
  • AI-assisted report drafting with voice-note capture — every diagnostic decision is made and signed by you
  • Individualized recommendations generated from each patient’s specific profile

No billing headaches. No chasing referrals. AI supports the work around the evaluation; it never diagnoses.

03

A responsive care team

You are never the practice’s back office. Our care team coordinates every patient touchpoint — intake questions, scheduling changes, pre-session logistics — and technical support is available during live sessions. When you need something, a person answers quickly.

04

Observe patients in their natural environments

Telehealth gives you a window into real-world behavior that a clinic exam room cannot replicate. You see authentic interactions, daily routines, and home dynamics — context that sharpens diagnostic accuracy and produces more clinically useful reports for patients, families, and treatment teams.

05

Work with people seeking answers

The children, teens, and adults we evaluate have often waited months, or years, for access to a specialist. Many adults arrive after a lifetime of partial explanations. An evaluation here is something people choose and prepare for — the kind of clinical work that reminds you why you trained for this.

06

Compensation and support built for every career stage

We contract at every level of clinical experience: early-career psychologists building a caseload, mid-career clinicians supplementing a practice, and senior diagnosticians who want to concentrate purely on complex evaluation work.

  • A competitive hourly rate, discussed plainly and put in writing before you sign
  • Work-life balance — you set your own hours, so clinical work fits around your life
  • Support scaled to your experience: structured onboarding and case review for newer clinicians; a full caseload from day one for experienced diagnosticians
  • No practice-building investment — licensure reimbursement, PSYPACT fee coverage, and the technology are provided

Evidence-Based Practice

Telehealth evaluation is as reliable as in-person.

Telehealth-based diagnostic evaluation is not an emerging experiment. It is a validated clinical model supported by peer-reviewed research and professional guidelines. Practicing with NeuroClarity means delivering care that meets the same evidence standards as any traditional diagnostic setting.

Diagnostic accuracy

Peer-reviewed research shows telehealth autism and ADHD assessment achieves accuracy comparable to in-person evaluation across age groups.

Validated methods

Remote assessment protocols are supported by established clinical guidelines and peer-reviewed research, preserving methodological integrity at every step.

Expanded reach

Telehealth extends specialty access across 45 U.S. jurisdictions: 43 states, including New Mexico and Oregon, plus Washington, D.C. and the Northern Mariana Islands, reaching rural and underserved communities.

The Clinical Model

A rigorous, structured evaluation process.

Every evaluation follows the same four-stage protocol, designed to deliver diagnostic clarity and a concrete path forward — from intake through results.

Step 1

Self-paced intake

Patients complete guided clinical interviews covering goals, developmental history, daily functioning, and current concerns — on their own schedule, before any live session. You review everything before you meet.

Step 2

Clinical design

You review the full picture and decide what to investigate. Standardized assessments — instruments like the ADOS-2 modified for telehealth, ABAS-3, and SRS-2 — are selected against the specific history, with an informant measure added where a developmental picture requires it. Not a fixed battery applied identically to everyone.

Step 3

Clinical session

A focused ~90-minute secure telehealth session built on everything gathered so far: observation, deeper investigation into what you flagged, and direct conversation.

Step 4

Results and recommendations

A comprehensive report with a formal diagnostic determination, the clinical reasoning behind it, and individualized recommendations — written in plain language. AI-assisted drafting is designed for same-day completion, while the session is fresh.

Your questions, answered.

The questions clinicians ask when comparing this opportunity to others — answered directly.

NeuroClarity delivers telehealth diagnostic evaluations investigating ASD, ADHD, anxiety, and related conditions for children, teens, and adults across 45 U.S. jurisdictions. As a licensed clinical psychologist, you review the platform-generated pre-evaluation summary, conduct the live evaluation session, make every diagnostic determination, and sign the final report. The platform supports the work around the evaluation; the clinical judgment is entirely yours.

You work as a 1099 independent contractor. You set your own schedule, and while we may set a minimum caseload to stay active in the network, we do not dictate when you work.

Compensation is a competitive hourly rate that varies with experience, discussed plainly and put in writing before you sign anything. Ask your recruiter for the current documented rate sheet — expect a full breakdown before any offer conversation.

Total compensation also includes the value of what NeuroClarity provides at no cost to you: the platform, AI-assisted documentation tools, and in many cases licensure or PSYPACT fee support.

No. We contract across the full range of clinical experience. Some of our clinicians came in as established diagnosticians; others had strong general assessment backgrounds and built condition-specific expertise through our onboarding and case-review process. What matters most is clinical curiosity and a willingness to learn the model.

If your CV does not show ADOS-2 or ABAS-3 experience by name, that alone does not disqualify you. Tell us what related assessment work you have done.

Before you ever meet a patient, the platform runs a structured intake and produces a clinician-facing pre-evaluation summary: developmental profile, domain summaries, and DSM-5-TR criteria mapping with cited examples. During the live session, you focus on interview and observation, not paperwork.

Afterward, the platform supports report writing with AI-generated suggestions drawn from the patient’s unique profile and voice-note capture, aiming for same-day completion. Think of it as a well-trained clinical assistant handling everything around the evaluation so you can spend your time on the evaluation itself.

No. AI supports data organization, intake summarization, and report drafting. Every diagnostic conclusion and every signed report comes from you. This distinction matters to us as much as it will to you: the platform is built to protect your time for clinical reasoning, not to replace it.

PSYPACT authorization significantly expands the number of jurisdictions where you can practice with us, since most of our coverage runs through PSYPACT’s Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT). If you are not yet PSYPACT-authorized but are licensed in a PSYPACT member state, we can talk through the process, and we cover PSYPACT fees for our clinicians.

We currently serve 45 U.S. jurisdictions: 43 states, including New Mexico and Oregon, plus the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Most coverage runs through PSYPACT. Coverage is expanding, so if your state is not included yet, it is worth checking back or asking directly.

You only see patients located in a jurisdiction where you hold an active license or PSYPACT authorization at the time of the session. Scheduling confirms patient location and your credentialing before a case is assigned.

NeuroClarity serves clients across the full lifespan, from early childhood through adulthood, and across every ethnic and cultural background. We are not an adult-only or pediatric-only practice; clinicians who can work across the age range, or who want to specialize within it, are both welcome to discuss fit with our team.

Yes. A meaningful and growing share of the families we serve speak Spanish at home or navigate care within a specific cultural context that shapes how symptoms present. We are seeking psychologists fluent in languages beyond English and clinicians with direct experience serving diverse communities. It is a differentiator in how we evaluate candidates.

A patient completes a self-paced intake before you are involved, covering developmental history, daily functioning, and current concerns. You then review a pre-evaluation summary and design the assessment approach. The live telehealth session combines clinical interview, standardized instruments matched to the referral question — such as the ADOS-2 modified for telehealth, ABAS-3, or SRS-2 — and direct behavioral observation in the patient’s home environment. Afterward, you complete the report using the platform’s drafting support, and the patient receives a comprehensive report with formal diagnostic conclusions and individualized recommendations.

Our platform is built to bring post-evaluation documentation down substantially compared to a typical unsupported workflow. AI-assisted drafting and voice-note capture are designed to let you write the report the same day as the session, while everything is fresh — and every report is built from the patient’s unique profile, never a template.

You retain full autonomy in clinical decision-making and diagnostic conclusions — that autonomy is written into the independent contractor agreement. Onboarding includes structured case review and mentorship, particularly for clinicians newer to neurodevelopmental diagnostic work, but the diagnostic call is always yours.

Onboarding is a structured, self-paced platform and practice-standards curriculum covering the platform itself, PSYPACT and multi-state practice rules, telehealth evaluation foundations, and clinical modules on differential diagnosis and documentation — followed by live training and supervised practice before you take your first independent case. Sessions are designed in short, focused increments so onboarding fits around your existing schedule.

Because you are an independent contractor with your own schedule, temporary caseload changes are generally workable with reasonable notice. Technical support is available during live sessions, and both topics are covered directly during onboarding, before you take your first case.
